Stephanie A. Balcazar
AttorneyStephanie Balcazar has resided in the Tampa Bay area for over ten years. She graduated with her bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of South Florida and received her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan Cooley Law School. During her time in law school, she worked full-time in Florida's largest Non-Profit in the legal and procurement department managing multi-million-dollar contracts. During her tenure at Western Michigan, she served as Vice-Chief and Secretary in Moot Court.
In May 2017, Stephanie was admitted to the Florida bar and worked as criminal defense attorney where she handled complex hearings, trials ranging from misdemeanors to capital felonies, and negotiated pleas. Before joining Savage Villoch Law, she worked for Florida's largest defense firm defending auto negligence, auto glass, Personal Injury Protection, and other insurance defense matters.
At Savage Villoch Law, her primary practice areas consist of representing major insurers in Personal Injury Protection matters and representing individual clients in criminal matters.
Stephanie is married and has two children. In her spare time, she is highly involved in her daughter's dance competition team, enjoys traveling, and spending time with their family and friends.
