Kristen is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN. She decided to pursue her dream of practicing law, and she started her legal education at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. Kristen transferred to Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2017.
Prior to joining Savage Villoch, Kristen served as an Assistant Public Defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Hillsborough County, Florida for over three years. As a criminal defense trial attorney, Kristen represented indigents clients in the Criminal Misdemeanor and Felony Divisions. She conducted legal research and depositions, litigated motions, and she was first and second chair counsel in several jury trials.
Kristen enjoys being an aunt to her nephew and niece. When she is not with them, she enjoys going out for a nice meal.
