Jay C. HamiltonAttorney
Jay C. Hamilton was raised on a horse farm in central Michigan but also has ties to the Ann Arbor metropolitan area. He first came to Florida to earn a bachelor's degree at Ave Maria University. While there, Florida became like home, and after a period helping at his family's law firm in Michigan, he decided to return to earn his law degree at Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida. During law school, Jay was involved in Moot Court, served as president of theLex Vitaesociety, and advocated for labor and sex trafficking victims at the school's human trafficking clinic.
In September 2018, Jay was admitted to the Florida bar and worked in a variety of civil litigation practice areas. Before joining Savage Villoch Law he defended auto negligence, auto glass, Personal Injury Protection, and other insurance defense matters at Florida's largest firm. With Savage Villoch, Jay's practice areas consist of representing major insurers in Personal Injury Protection and auto glass litigation matters.
Other than the law, Jay's interests include kayaking, exploring Florida's interior, writing, crafting scale models, and oversized dogs (because his complex does not permit horses).
